Meatloaf:

cup Whole Milk

slices White Bread

pounds Ground Beef80% lean

cup Parmesan Cheesefreshly grated

1 Tbsp Tower Grove Spice Co Original Blend

1/3 cup fresh Parsleyminced

whole EggsBeaten

12 slices Thin cut Bacon

Sauce:

1+1/2 cups Ketchup
1/3 cup Brown Sugar
teaspoon Dry Mustard
dash Tabasco sauce

Step 1:Preheat that oven to a cozy 350 degrees.

Step 2:Toss some bread into a big bowl and pour milk all over those slices. Let them chill in a milk bath for a solid 5 minutes.

Step 3:Now, throw in the rest of the meatloaf team and get hands-on. Mix it up, making sure the bread is part of the crew. Don't overdo it; we want a tender, flavorful loaf, not a tough one.

Step 4:Shape that meaty goodness into a loaf, around 5 inches wide. Pop it on a broiler pan so the fat can take a little exit. Foil on the pan's bottom means cleanup's a breeze.

Step 5:Lay out the bacon on top, tucking the ends under for that picture-perfect shape. I like them close but not cozy, so you can slice easily between each bacon piece post-cook.

Step 6:Whisk up the sauce crew and paint a third of it on the meatloaf masterpiece.

Step 7:Slide that pan into the middle rack of the oven and let it hang out for 45 minutes. Pull it out, brush another third of the sauce on, and let it dance in the oven for another 25 minutes.

Step 8:Give it a breather for 10 minutes before slicing. Patience is a virtue; it lets those juicy vibes soak back into the meat. Pro Tip: Stick a meat thermometer in to hit the 160°F sweet spot.

Step 9:Serve it up with the last of the sauce and dive into flavor town! Mashed potatoes and roasted green beans make the perfect entourage for this tasty adventure!
